I’m Positive 2011 is going to be great!

Does your attitude need a life ring?

Does your attitude need a life ring?

As we party away the last hours of 2010 today, I encourage us all to let go of any hardship this year has brought us (or our business) and embrace the positive possibilities ahead.

Perhaps the effects of this past year will be with us for a while, but that doesn’t mean we need to wrap them around us like a security blanket and wallow in pain. I recently asked the owner of a restaurant we frequent if he would like to be interviewed for this blog. “Its free, no obligation, yadda yadda yadda…” And his response: he didn’t think he would have anything positive to say!

He might make great food, but I’m sure not going to follow that self-defeating attitude! Personally, my challenges of this last year have shown me what fears I let dominate my thinking. Shine the light on these fears and they turn out to be big shadows of very tiny truths. Very tiny truths can be handled. They are nothing that will hold me back in this coming year.

Here is one of my favorite blogs, Business Blogs, with 27 Vital Tips for Staying Positive. Need a life ring? Grab on to one of these tips and start there. It might be all you need to keep your head and heart above water.

Here are the titles of some of their tips:

  • The Power of Positive Influences
  • It’s All About Your Mindset
  • You are not alone
  • Celebrate Success
  • Protect All Your Assets
  • Freedom to Choose
  • Stay Positive by Staying Engaged
  • Fall down 8 times, get up 9
  • Join A Mastermind

Now get out there! Dream up and plan out how you will make 2011 a year to remember!
